Vegetable Chow Mein

This easy chow mein dish combines chewy noodles with crunchy beans sprouts, cabbage, and green onions, tossed in a savory sweet sauce. Ready under 15 minutes!

Add chow mein noodles to a pot of boiling water and boil according to package directions. Combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside.


Heat  vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok. Once the oil is hot, add minced garlic and sliced shallots. Cook until fragrant and tender, but do not burn.

Add the cabbage and green onions and cook just until cabbage is soft. Add the noodles and the sauce to the skillet or wok, then toss in bean sprouts.

Toss to combine. Remove from heat.  Serve and enjoy!
