Gooey, sticky no-bake Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats are delicious fudge-y rice Krispie bars made with gooey mini marshmallows. This chocolate dessert bar is easy to make and can be made ahead for parties.
Unsalted Butter Mini Marshmallows Vanilla Extract Chocolate Chips Rice Krispie Cereal Flaky Kosher Salt
Line a 9×9 pan with parchment paper. In a large pot, melt the butter under medium-low to low heat. Add the marshmallows, chocolate chips and vanilla.
Stir until marshmallows and chocolate chips are completely melted. Remove from heat and fold in Rice Krispie cereal. Pour into the prepared pan.
Use a spatula to gently flatten making sure to not press too hard. Press a few extra mini marshmallows onto the top of rice krispie treats.
Sprinkle with kosher salt if desired. Let cool. Slice into pieces and serve.
