Crusty on the edges, soft on the insides, this classic stuffing recipe is tossed with apples, celery, and onions in a buttery herb dressing. Such a delicious take on the popular holiday side dish.
Dry Bread | Butter | Onions Celery | Garlic | Apples Fresh Thyme | Fresh Sage Fresh Rosemary | Salt Chicken Broth | Parsley
Spread cubed bread out on one or two baking sheets without overlapping and bake for 8-12 minutes. Then set aside and let it cool.
Saute onions, celery, garlic, thyme, sage and rosemary for 1-2 minutes, or until onions are soft. Stir in salt, add apples and saute for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
Toss bread cubes with apple, onion, celery and herb butter mixture. Drizzle chicken broth all over bread and toss to combine. Spread bread cubes on a prepared baking dish.
Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes. Garnish with parsley. Serve and enjoy!
