Thai Mango Sweet Sticky Rice is a classic Southeast Asian dessert! Soft, sweet sticky rice smothered with creamy sweet coconut sauce, then paired with sweet, juicy fresh mangos. Lovely and simple to make!
Mangoes Glutinous/Sweet Rice Coconut Milk Sugar Salt Cornstarch Sesame Seeds
Soak the rice for 2 hours, or up to overnight. Drain water when ready, then steam the sticky rice for 20-30 minutes. Click for instructions if you don't have a steamer.
Slice the mangoes. and bring the coconut sauce ingredients to a boil. Set half the sauce aside. Combine coconut milk and cornstarch, then add that into the pot to thicken.
Add the sweet coconut sauce that was set aside to the rice and mix well. Serve cooled rice with mangoes, and drizzle with the thickened sweet coconut sauce.
Garnish with sesame seeds. Serve and enjoy!
