Place the bacon on a prepared baking sheet and bake until it reaches desired crispiness, then cut into small pieces.

INSTRUCTIONS

Add butter and flour to a large pot, then stir in milk and chicken broth and bring to a boil. Next, add in the potatoes and cook until soft.

Mash potatoes in the soup briefly until they are in small chunks. Then add the cheese, sour cream and bacon and boil for a few minutes.

Garnish with cheddar cheese, chives and bacon pieces.
