These delicious oven baked Chili Cheese Dogs are loaded with a flavorful chunky homemade chili, cheddar cheese and diced white onions. Perfect for game day, cookouts and dinners.
Hot Dog Buns | Hot Dogs Cheddar Cheese | Parsley CHILI Onion | Garlic Lean Ground Beef Crushed Tomatoes Tomato Paste | Chili Powder Smoked Paprika | Cumin Salt and Black Pepper
In a medium pot or Dutch oven, saute onion for 20 seconds. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and spices.
Stir and cook until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and set aside. Line opened hot dogs on a large baking sheet.
Top each hot dog with chili, and shredded cheese. Bake chili cheese dog in the oven at 350° until the cheese melts.
Garnish with diced onions and chopped parsley. Serve and enjoy!
