Apple Crumble Pie

This classic dessert is also called Dutch Apple Pie. It combines a flaky, buttery pie crust with a cinnamon-spiced apple filling and a delectable streusel crumble topping.

Apples | Lemon Juice Flour | Brown Sugar | Butter Cinnamon | Nutmeg | Sugar Vanilla | Cornstarch Iced Water

Combine flour and salt, then cut in cold butter. Add water, kneading until the dough holds together, then shape into a ball and refrigerate.

INSTRUCTIONS

Make a cornstarch slurry, then add it to a pot with the sliced apples, sugar and spices and cook until the apples are soft.

Roll the pie crust out and place in a pie pan, then add the cooled apple pie filling. Next, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt.

Then cut butter into the mixture, until slightly crumbly. Top the apple pie with the crumble mixture and bake for 25 minutes.

Serve with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
