A bed of fresh spinach with strawberries, bacon, candied pecans, and blue cheese, tossed in a lovely, highly flavorful homemade lemon maple dressing.

Ingredients

fresh spinach

bacon

blue cheese
or feta

candied pecans
Lemon Maple Dressing
▢
⅓
cup
100% pure maple syrup
▢
¼
cup
freshly squeezed lemon juice
▢
½
cup
extra virgin olive oil
▢

clove
medium garlic
▢

salt
Instructions
Cut bacon into 1-inch slices and cook bacon in skillet until crispy. Drain bacon grease.
Slice strawberries.
Make the Lemon Maple Dressing by bringing all the ingredients to a bottle and shaking it up.
Assemble spinach, sliced strawberries, and crispy bacon. Drizzle dressing onto salad. (See Note 2)
Top with candied pecans and blue cheese.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Note 1: To store leftover salad dressing, refrigerate up to 2 weeks.
Note 2: Adjust amount of salad dressing to taste. There may be leftover dressing.
