Cook pasta according to package directions. When done, drain and set aside. Season cubed chicken with salt and pepper.
Add cubed chicken to a skillet with hot oil. Cook until internal temperature reaches 165℉. Remove chicken from skillet.
In the same skillet, melt the butter. Mix in the flour until completely incorporated. Slowly pour in half & half, mixing as you pour. Fold in pesto until combined.
Return chicken to skillet. Add pasta. Toss to coat. Taste to see if salt is needed, and add salt to taste if necessary.
