  • 2 lbs chicken breast or chicken tenderloins
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 6-8 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp onion powder optional
  • ~1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • Create the marinate by mixing olive oil, garlic, balsamic vinegar, fresh lemon juice, oregano, salt, basil, thyme, sugar and onion powder (optional) together in a food processor/blender. If you don't have a food processor or blender, mince garlic and combine everything together and mix well.
  • Coat chicken breast evenly with marinate and marinate for at least 3 hours.
  • Pre-heat grill, grill pan or skillet on medium-medium high heat. Add/brush with some vegetable oil. Once heated up, add chicken and let it sit for 3-4 minutes, then flip over (See Note 1). Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F (check multiple spots and the thickest spot on the chicken). Remove promptly. (See Note 2)
  • Serve and enjoy!

Note 1: Letting the chicken breast sit a few minutes prior to flipping will help create "grill marks" if using grill or grill pan
Note 2: Depending on how well your appliances retain heat, the thickness of the chicken, cook time for chicken will vary.
