A simple Italian pasta dish with big flavors. Spaghetti pasta is tossed with earthy fresh sage leaves, parmesan cheese, and brown butter. This is a an easy and satisfying dinner the whole family will love.
Spaghetti Pasta Unsalted Butter Garlic Salt & Black Pepper Pasta Water Fresh Sage Leaves Parmesan Cheese
Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve ¼ cup of the pasta water for the sauce. Drain pasta and set aside. Cut the butter into small equal portions.
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Once the butter melts, foam will form on top. Keep cooking the butter until brown bits begin to appear.
As soon as you smell a toasted, nutty scent, add the minced garlic and cook until it is fragrant. Season with salt and pepper. Add pasta water and julienned sage leaves. Add pasta and toss to coat.
Add parmesan cheese. Toss to coat again. Garnish with more sage leaves. Serve and enjoy!
