Yes, it is most likely because the liquid in the pot isn’t hot enough. Also make sure the liquid came to a full rolling boil before switching it off and adding the egg mixture.

I loved the flavor of this soup, however Iโ€™m not sure what I did wrong, but the egg did not turn into the little solid strings but rather just kinda blended right into the soup. Was the liquid not hot enough? I did remove the pot from the heat.

Made this today! We donโ€™t usually eat a lot of soup, but I was interested to try out the egg drizzle part in this recipe. ๐Ÿ™‚ It worked and the soup tasted great!
