Yes! You can definitely cut down on the sugar! Reduce the brown sugar in the crust by 1/3 cup (that’s where most of the sweetness comes from), and you can also reduce the sugar in the filling by a tablespoon too.

This apple crisp was so easy and delicious! Heated up well the next day, too. I usually always stick with chocolate desserts, but this was so good that I definitely want to have it again soon!

Very tasty & VERY easy! I saved this recipe so I could make it again. My husband is a fan of apple pie but sometimes I don’t have the energy to make a double crust pie. This is a solid second choice. I added far more cinnamon than was called for & with recipes like this, it is very easy to make changes as needed. This recipe could easily accommodate a swap of apples for pears or peaches. I see this being used in our dessert future often. I don’t rate many recipes 5-stars as I create my own & not much stands up the scrutiny of my husband & I. This is a well deserved 5-star recipe. Thanks for sharing tasty love!
